The passion started as a hobby for Scott and Vicky Mitchell back in 1986 and has continued to grow with them and their family over the years into what is now JDM Construction & Design. With varied styles, locations, and home sizes over the years, the one thing that has always remained constant is the quality and detail put into each individual home.

Our Story
Scott and Vicky started Scott Mitchell Construction & Design LLC more than 30 years ago in Lebanon, Missouri. After raising their family and building homes each year, Scott and Vicky realized it was more than just a hobby and something they would continue for many years to come. Fast forward to 2021 and JDM Construction & Design was created and named after their three children, Jenna, Derrick, and Matt in Springfield, Missouri. At JDM, we believe that family is the most important thing and we care about creating spaces where you can make memories with your family that will last a lifetime.
